Yep, that's me!
Without a doubt, I'm the happiest woman on the planet today. And there are three main reasons for my world being so bright!
- Reason One (and by far the biggest!!):
MY BOYS ARE HOME!!
Oh my goodness, I've missed them soooo much! They were only gone for four days, and yes, I did enjoy my free time, but I'm so happy they're back. In fact, they're probably going to start getting really annoyed, really soon because I can't stop cuddling them!
So sue me! It is a mothers right, after all!
- Reason Two:
This morning, my husband actually came shopping with me (he is an avid 'avoid the shops at all times wherever possible' person) and we bought a new vacuum cleaner!
"Wow.....whatever," I can hear you muttering under your breath.
I know, I know......anything that means more housework for me is not something I usually get excited about, but I think this deserves a little bit of jubilation, as it is going to make things so much EASIER for me!! My poor old Electrolux (which was Mums before becoming mine), has been dying a very slow death for some time and has almost completely packed it in. Vacuuming is an activity that has had me in tears quite often of late, due to the pure frustration and amount of effort required to pick up the slightest piece of fluff.
So voila! Now there are easy peesy vacuuming days ahead for me!
Bet you can't wait to hear about the third reason, ha?
- Reason Three:
This little baby!
I would like to introduce you to my new phone, the Samsung Galaxy S II!
I've never had a 'smart phone' before so this is a whole new experience for me! I have been mulling over the idea of getting a new phone sometime in the near future, but a little incident the other day left me desperate and phoneless!
Just a word of warning, phones don't like it when you drop them down the toilet!
It didn't matter that I fished it out straight away (yes, wee and all).....it was no longer a working piece of equipment.
I hate it when I go out and accidentally leave my phone at home, but to not have one at all? I completely rely on it now, just for the peace of mind......to know that in an emergency, I can get help, pretty much anywhere, any time. So I'm all smiles again! Now I just have to learn how to use it! :)
All in all, it's been a pretty spectacular day in my book! We might be a little bit poorer in ye old bank account, but as far as I'm concerned, all is good with the world!
Hope your day has been wonderful too!
