It is so hot today, and I don't cope well in the heat.
I never used to have a problem with it, but now, when the temperature heads up towards the forties, I need to stay indoors and keep as quiet as possible.
And I actually managed that today by sitting down and reading for a while!
It was a real treat, as I don't get to read during the day very often.
Not because there isn't the opportunity, but because I can't really concentrate when there's lots of other noise going on.
But my boys went out for a while this afternoon, so it was just the chance I needed!
So today I'm grateful for the chance to have a quiet read, and stay cool on this unbearably hot day.
Way to hot. I'm suppose to go and get my niece a birthday present but that can wait.

DeleteWhen I read forties I thought "that's not hot, that's cold" but then I realized it's Celsius over there :)
